August has been one heck of a busy month so I won’t waste any time!  Congratulations to Wicked Smart Dragon on winning the Temple of Orcus.  I hope you have many hours of mayhem and carnage in its unhallowed halls!

 

 

This week the Arcane Library and I unveiled another beastie from the Monstrous Lexicon!  Here we have the gargantuan scylla, an oceanic hydra that preys upon unsuspecting merchant ships.  We have a few creatures in the Lexicon that play on the idea that ocean dwelling creatures are bigger and badder than their freshwater cousins.  I will be sharing more from the Monstrous Lexicon as we get closer to the release date!  We are shooting for this winter and will be releasing on Amazon and Barnes and Noble!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each Wednesday we meet at Titan Games where I run a 1st edition AD&D table.  Most younger players have never played the earlier editions making for some hilarious roleplay as they try to navigate D&D “hard mode”.  Last week, the party cleric was hit with a wave of seriously bad rolls.  After about three hours of rolling nothing above a 3, the cleric finally had enough when, after a failed turn undead attempt, she lost her temper and forsook her goddess!  Sadly, the divine being was listening and caused her silver holy symbol to shatter in her hand.  The cleric’s response was priceless, “Hey!  That was expensive!”  Luckily I was ready with the camera for what transpired next.  Following that video is a second filmed last night where the cleric returned with a plan to woo a new god!
